KAWASAKI ZX10R SLIP-ON

 

Fits 2004-2005 models. This Slip-On features a lightweight 2.0" diameter stainless steel mid-pipe.   Choice of 18" or 12" carbon fiber mufflers.  Stainless steel mufflers are also available in 18" or 12" lengths.  Core diameters available are 2.0", 2.25", or 2.50".   The 18" muffler with 2.0" core will give you the quietest performance.  The shorter length mufflers and larger cores provide a louder, but low frequency exhaust tone, as well as increased peak powerband.  The muffler body clamp mount is laser cut from 304 series stainless steel and protected with an extruded rubber insulator.

The model used was a 2004. This particular model had only 280 miles on it and was not yet broken-in. ZX10’s have shown repeatedly to gain significant power after 2500 miles. We have seen baseline readings of 140 hp, up to 152 hp on many different bikes tested. The power increase on this particular model was 5.4 horsepower and 1.0 foot pounds of torque. Fuel curve is within specs and no change is required to the mapping.
